1. Acceptance of these terms

By using Miki: Anime & Manga Tracker ("Miki", "the app"), you agree to these terms. Miki is operated by Atikkah Baig, who publishes Miki under the name NiaziStudio ("we", "us"). If you don't agree, please don't use the app. These terms work together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Not affiliated with MyAnimeList, YouTube, Google or Anime News Network

Miki is an independent, third-party app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to MyAnimeList Co., Ltd., YouTube, Google LLC or Anime News Network. Anime and manga data is provided through MyAnimeList's public API under its own terms; news headlines come from Anime News Network's public feed and link to their site. All names, logos and artwork belong to their owners.

3. Your account

You can use much of Miki without an account. If you link a MyAnimeList account, you are responsible for keeping it and your device secure. Actions you take in Miki (updating your list, status or scores) are applied to your real MyAnimeList account.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Miki. In particular, don't interfere with its normal operation, attempt to break or overload its servers, reverse-engineer its backend, scrape it, or use it to break MyAnimeList's or any other service's terms.

5. Community and the Bugs & Improvements board

You can post questions, discussions, recommendations, blogs, answers and comments, and report bugs or suggestions. You are responsible for what you post.

  • Keep it respectful and on topic. No hate, harassment, threats, sexual or graphic content, spam, scams, advertising, links or contact details of other people, or anything illegal.
  • Only post what you have the right to post. You keep ownership of your posts. By posting, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store and display them in Miki so that other people can read them.
  • Moderation. Posts are checked automatically for offensive wording and spam. Anyone can report a post or hide an author. Posts that are reported by several people are hidden automatically, and we may remove any content or restrict anyone who breaks these rules.
  • Your own posts. You can delete posts you wrote from the post's menu.

6. YouTube content (Anime Shorts)

Anime Shorts shows videos from YouTube through YouTube's embedded player. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The videos belong to their owners; Miki does not host, download or alter them, and a video can disappear at any time if its owner removes it or turns off embedding.

7. AI features

Recommendations, quizzes, chat replies and AI-generated pictures are produced automatically by AI and can be wrong, incomplete or not to your taste. They are provided for entertainment and discovery, not as authoritative information.

  • Pictures are limited to anime and manga artwork. Requests for real people, sexual or violent content, or anything unrelated are refused. There is a daily limit per person.
  • Pictures are marked as AI-generated. You are responsible for how you use any picture you save or share, including any rights of third parties.
  • If an AI picture or reply is inappropriate, please use the Report button in the app.

8. Sponsored videos

Some videos in Miki are paid promotion. Sponsored clips open the Shorts feed and are always labelled "Sponsored". The label does not name the advertiser. Sponsored placements are arranged by email with Atikkah Baig, who publishes Miki under the name NiaziStudio; contact pr@mikitracker.top.

Creators and businesses can pay to put a video on the Featured tab, either by bidding for one of three podium spots or by buying a place in the sliding row.

  • Only anime and manga videos. A video must be about anime or manga, public, embeddable and no longer than 3 minutes. We check this before any payment page opens, and a video that does not pass is never charged. We may also refuse or remove any video that is unsuitable.
  • Podium spots. The three spots run on one 30-day cycle with their own starting prices. A new bid must beat the current holder by at least the stated step. When the cycle ends all spots reset to their starting prices.
  • Outbid. If someone outbids you, your video leaves the podium and what you paid is not refunded - you held the spot while it was yours. If a payment is overtaken by a higher bid while it is being made, it is refunded.
  • Removal. If we remove a video because it breaks these terms, the amount paid is not refunded.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe on its own page. We never receive your card details. Prices are shown before you pay.

Featured placements are offered to creators and businesses for promotional purposes. Mandatory consumer rights in your country are not affected.

10. Our content

The Miki app, its design, name and logo belong to us. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. We do not give you any right to copy, sell or create derivative works from it.

11. Availability and changes

Miki is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted, and we may change, suspend or end features at any time.

12. No warranty and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we give no warranties of any kind about the app, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.

13. Ending your use

You can stop using Miki at any time (and unlink your account from Settings > MyAnimeList Account). We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Miki after a change means you accept the updated terms.
